Enjoy a half-day snorkeling trip from Marsa Alam to Abu Dabab beach, one of the most famous snorkeling sites in the Red Sea. Explore the waters at one of the few places in the world where you can see turtles and the rare endangered dugong (sea cow).

Full Description

Get picked up from your hotel in Marsa Alam or Port Ghalib at 7:30 AM and drive for 30 minutes to Abo Dabab Bay. This area is one of the most beautiful snorkeling and dive sites in the area. The bay has a sandy beach with sea grass and crystal-clear warm waters host a great variety of coral reefs and plenty of colorful fish.

Start the snorkeling tour at 9:30 AM and set off for your first location. Get kitted out with all the necessary equipment, then submerge yourself in the water. Keep your eyes peeled for fish, green turtles and the endangered dugong (sea cows) which occasionally visit the sheltered bay to feed on the seagrass. Spend about 1.5 hours exploring here before enjoying a rest on the beach at 11 AM.

After this, enjoy another hour of free time to relax on the beach where you'll find chaise lounges and umbrellas. Soak up the sun and incredible scenery before returning to your hotel at about 1:30 PM where your tour will finish.
